4. Troubleshooting
Every educational institution that uses technology will have some issues with devices and other technologies so they need to fix them. Some institutions have technology department where experts come to fix some tech issues. Sometimes, minor troubleshooting will have to wait for a long time before they are fix especially when the tech department is not available at the time. To avoid excessive use of resources and time wastage, teachers should learn some basic troubleshooting skills to fix immediate tech issues that do not require high-tech response. Troubleshooting skill will help maximize time and will not halt learning except a more difficult tech issue.
5. Software Installations and Management
Every institution adopts different applications for learning and the effectiveness of these apps depends on the installation and management. Teachers must know how to download applications and manage them for use in and outside classroom and know how different devices work with applications. They should also know how to uninstall (remove) the applications when not in use or affecting the device. Having this skill brings some confidence and also saves lot of stress. Teacher can also help students on their devices when using them for learning in the classroom.
